Welcome to the Avoneaux Medical Institute

Our mission is to advance and popularize scientific knowledge by performing research studies, publishing books and articles, and improving clinical diagnostics through creation of new technologies.

Areas of interest of the Institute include, a) Molecular Pathology, b) Tumor Suppressor Genes, c) Minime Physics, d) Scientific Processes, and e) Addiction and Cancer.

Avoneaux Med was founded in 2015 by Michael Emmert-Buck, MD, PhD, who previously served as a Principal Investigator at the NIH in Bethesda, MD. The Institute is small, with a limited staff. However, once a new technology is established or a scientific discovery is made, a larger effort is typically created through collaborations, partnerships, and/or license agreements. Dr. Emmert-Buck is grateful to the Institute staff and our colleagues, many of whom are mentioned in various sections of the site.
